6 Set up with the display and adjustment module PLICSCOM
VEGABAR 51 • Probus PA

You can nd the data on the type label on the instrument or in the
menu items of the zero/span adjustment.
The display and adjustment module enables the adjustment without
lling or pressure. Thanks to this, you can carry out your settings
already in the workshop without the instrument having to be installed.
The actual measured value is displayed in addition to the menu items
for zero/span adjustment.
VEGABAR 51 is preset to application "Level measurement". Proceed
as follows when switching over to application "Process pressure
measurement":
1. Push the [OK] button in the measured value display, the menu
overview is displayed.
2. Select the menu "Service" with [->] and conrm with [OK].

3. Select the menu item "Application" with [->] and edit with [OK].
Warning:
Note the warning: "Output can change".
4. Select with [->] "OK" and conrm with [OK].
5. Select "Process pressure" from the list and conrm with [OK].
In this menu item you select the adjustment unit as well as the unit for
the temperature indication in the display.
To select the adjustment unit (in the example switching over from bar
to mbar), proceed as follows:

"Unit" will be displayed.
