6 Setup with the integrated display and adjustment unit

Note:

ThecongurationofaradioconnectionisonlypossibleifaPLICSRA-

DIO C62 is connected and ready for operation.

Afterbeingswitchedon,PLICSRADIOR62rstofallcarriesouta

short self-check. The following steps are carried out:

Internal check of the electronics

•

indicationoftheinstrumenttype,rmwareversionaswellasthe

instrument TAG (instrument name)

•

Communication with the connected PLICSRADIO C62

•

Establishment of a radio connection

After switching on, the height of the signal strength is displayed as a

standard. The measured values and measurement loop designations

are only displayed in PLICSRADIO C62.

1. By pushing [OK] you move from the signal strength indication to

the main menu.

2. Select the menu item "Device settings" with [->]andconrmwith

[OK].

You can assign an unambiguous name to PLICSRADIO R62 via the

Device-TAG. This function is recommended when several instruments

are implemented and a good documentation of larger systems is

required.

Enter the requested values via the appropriate keys and save

your settings with [OK].

The emitting and receiving units must be always set to the same radio

channel. When using several independent radio links, each radio link

mustbeprovidedwithadierentchannel.Intotal,sevenradiolinks

are available (channel 0 … 6).
