7 Setup with PACTware
7.1 Connect the PC
As an alternative to the setup via display and adjustment module, the
parameter adjustment is also possible via PC. For connection you
require the VEGACONNECT 4 interface converter. This converter can
be inserted into PLICSRADIO R61 instead of the indicating and ad-
justment module. The connection to the PC is carried out via the USB
interface. The parameter adjustment of PLICSRADIO T61/T62 reach-
able via radio communication as well as the connected sensors can
bealsocarriedoutviathisconnection.Furtherinformationisspecied
in the operating instructions manual of "VEGACONNECT 4".

7.2 Parameter adjustment with PACTware
As an alternative to the integrated display and adjustment unit, the
adjustment can be also carried out via a Windows PC. For this, the
congurationsoftwarePACTwa re andasuitableinstrumentdriver
(DTM) according to the FDT standard are required. The current PACT-
ware version as well as all available DTMs are compiled in a DTM
Collection. Furthermore, the DTMs can be integrated into other frame
applications compliant with the FDT standard.
Note:
To ensure that all instrument functions are supported, you should
always use the latest DTM Collection. Furthermore, not all described
functionsareincludedinolderrmwareversions.Yo ucandownload
the latest instrument software from our homepage. A description of
the update procedure is also available in the Internet.
